These photos were taken in Central Park, NYC on the opening day of the "Gates" installment by Cristo. The crowds are not an unusual sight in New York City, but in February (when these were taken) there are not usually this many people out in New York in general and especially in Central Park. This event was significant in bringing a little color into the Live of New Yorkers.
